MKS EXA Pedal (For Track Bike)

Every track sprinter's worst fear is pulling out of their pedal during a race.

Clipless road pedals are designed to easily engage and release for emergencies and stopping — creating the potential for accidental release exactly when you need maximum power. The MKS EXA was engineered to eliminate that risk entirely.

The EXA is a combination toe clip, strap, and binding pedal designed exclusively for track usage. Unlike road pedals, it does not rely on foot angle for release. Clipping in uses the familiar downward pressure motion, but releasing requires pulling a lever backwards by hand — an all-metal locking mechanism that will not accidentally disengage mid-sprint.

When used in conjunction with a toe cage and straps, the EXA provides the ultimate pedal security on the market.

Includes the MC-1 plastic cleat and necessary hardware, compatible with three-hole shoes. For riders who prefer metal, the MC-3 alloy cleat is available separately.
