MKS Urban Platform Ezy Superior Pedal

The Urban Platform Ezy Superior could be considered an upgraded version of the GR series pedal. Compared to the GR series, MKS refined the shape, reinforced the oversized flip tab, and upgraded the bearings to the Triple Sealed Bearing system — that spins for days.

The Urban Platform features ridges to provide grip on the exterior edges of the pedal body and along the axle line, with a slightly taller set of inboard ridges to help keep your feet in place and prevent your shoes from rubbing on the crank.

We recommend toe clips with all Platform pedals, and specifically recommend the MKS Stainless Steel Cage Clip (quarter, half, or full) as a great pairing. This pedal looks excellent on most steel and vintage bikes.

The patented Ezy Superior quick release axle system allows for safe, rapid, and tool-less removal of pedals for travel, storage, or flexibility. Particularly popular as an upgrade for folding bicycles, those who take their bikes on mass transit, or travel bikes with coupler systems — the Ezy Superior system can dramatically improve ride quality while saving space.
